Hey everyone, i was wondering if someone could help me out with some info. About 4 days ago I noticed a bump on the shaft of my penis that looks like a pimple. About a day ago it popped and puss came out of it. Now, it looks like its drying up and it'll probably leave a scar (just like pimples on your face do). Are any of these indications that it might be an STD?? or is it just a plain ol' pimple/clogged pore which i heard was normal on your penis. Also, did a bit of research, and there arent any symptons that might link it to any STD (no itching or fever, etc...). Any info would be greatly appreciated.JohnnyBoy IP: Logged |

Sounds like it may have been an infected or impacted hair follicle, course it could have been a pimple, I've had them there before. Really no indication of an STD unless there are others and some located on the tip of your penis. Keep a close eye for any more of them, never pop it yourself, let nature "do its thing." Watch for any signs of infection and keep the area clean. IT is OK to use an ointment such as neosporin on the spot where the "pimple" was to prevent any infection from happening there. If you have any question as to the health of your equipment or possible STDs....consult with a doc! This is the only equipment you'll ever have so take care of it!!IP: Logged |

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate. Didnt think i would ever get a response. I actually have been recently tested for Herpes and Syphillis, and awaiting results. I guess we'll find out, but thanks again for the info dude.JohnnyBoy quote: Originally posted by lance: Sounds like it may have been an infected or impacted hair follicle, course it could have been a pimple, I've had them there before.
