Topic: Rash in more than one spot.. help?

Well, i am very embarrassed by all of this, but I will give the necessary detail in order to try to get some advice.. I started with a small rash on my chest, and in the creases of my thighs and some on the external vagina area. I thought the rashes were unrelated, and tried an OTC yeast treatment since it itched pretty badly.. well a week and a half later, it both areas have grown in size and itch more than ever before.. I dont have bumps, (regular acne on chest from working out) but it is just red, and raised a bit and VERY itchy.. but as I said, it is on the top of my chest, and on my inner thigh, creases of my thighs and on the vagina itself, though no abnormal discharge or odor.. could this be an STD? Hubby has been gone for 3 weeks and comes back friday and I am not sure if we need to have a "talk" since he has cheated before, brought stuff home before and i suspect him again, but am just not sure.. though this would make me certain.. please advise? Dont rule anything out, Have you changed laundry detergent/fabric softener/shampoo/soap/, lately? If not do you do laundry at a coin laundry or at home? I had to wash laundry at a coin laundry when I went to college and I got a weird rash. it turned out someone had washed something with gasoline on it in the washer before me. If I were in your shoes I'd be seeing the doctor soon...To rule out something serous,or STD.IP: Logged |

Ahh.. well, I have not switched anything like soaps or the like... no new foods.. though I do wash my clothes in a community wash room(6 washers to 7 families) Well, have a docs appointment for thursday, but you know how it is with things like this- even one day is too long to wait for an active mind..thank you for responding  IP: Logged |

hey i was wondering if you went to the doctor and what he said? because i have what sounds like the same thing in the creases of my thighs and it won't go away! no fluids come out of the little bumps or whatever, but it's very itchy. i'm worried too, so please let me know what happened!IP: Logged |

Do a search on:Tinea Corporis and let me know if you think you have this. I had a rash and some red bumps in my crouch area. I thought it was herpes and got tested. It wasn't. My doc gave me Mentax cream and the rash got worse initially and then went away. DO NOT PUT STERIODS ON THIS RASH!!! Hope this helps. IP: Logged |

i don't think this tinea thing is what i have. i guess it could be, because i've had problems with cellulitis lately, and that is a bacterial infection. it's weird. but i don't know, i'm just worried.IP: Logged |
