About 10 days ago I began developing a pinkish rash around my rectum which began to itch like crazy. Over the next couple days I itched it at times and the rash spread up and down my "crack", but it was only visible when spreading my buttocks. Over the past week, the rash slowly spread to under my scrotum, then between the crease of my scrotum and thighs, and now on the side of my scrotum. The rash around my rectum is still there, but it does not itch much anymore. The rash around and below the scrotum is very itchy. I'm talking about this as if they were separate rashes, but it is one continuous rash. I've been trying goldbond the past couple days, and although it helps with the itching, the rash is showing no signs of stopping. I've been having sex with my girlfriend for about 2 months and she has some bumps on her rear that appear to be molluscum (based on pics). She has not had a rash at all though, and it makes me wonder if this is harmless or something more. I have not had another girl since November, and I know she has not cheated on me. The big problem is that neither one of us has insurance right now so we both feel kinda in a bind. If you need any more info to help me out let me know and I will give it. Thanks for your time.

Possible yeast infection???

You should look up your nearest community health clinic and have this checked out.

what else does the rash show? Is it really really itchy, possibly worse at night? does it seem that there are a few spots/lumps that scab over or anything? Does it ever bleed from scratching it? Is your skin becoming dry and/or possibly scaly/flaky?

If so, it sounds like it could be scabies or something along the lines of that.. answer those questions and ill try to help ya...

I am willing to bet on the fact that you and your girlfriend have herpes GO GET CHECKED the longer you leave it un checked the worse it will be for you in the long run if you catch it early enough chances are you'll never get it again. The reason I think it's herpes is because I had all the same simptoms and my girlfrien was miss diagnosed with mulescum instead of herpes!
