Topic: pubic hair

I'm a 19 year old white male. My pubic hair grew to about 1/2" long. Everyone else I know has 2 or 3 inch long pubes. Is there something wrong with me? Am I the only one that has naturally short pubes? Please help. IP: Logged |

Nothing is wrong with you! This sounds genetic in nature, it would be interesting to find out if the other males in your family have the same pubic hair type and size. I don't know how you have that conversation unless you are really open with them. I certainly don't think there is anything you can do about it. Guess it's just like our penis size and shape, comes in all sizes. I remember the first time I saw red and then blonde pubic hair in the locker room, boy was I surprised! You're OK, consider yourself special 'cause it's different than others!IP: Logged |

Lance, thanks for your reply. You mentioned red pubic hair. That is another issue I have. The hair on my head is a very dark reddish/brown color but my pubes are a bright red color. Do red pubes not grow as long as brown? Do other men have pubic hair that doesn't match their head hair color? I appreciate your help. IP: Logged |

Yes, there can be difference between head hair and pubic hair. Maybe not in length but coloration can sometimes be different!IP: Logged |

Do as you'd like....its your pubic hair! Seriously, some guys (like me) leave it alone and never trim or anything, others like it shorter or completely shaven. Its totally a personal choice thing!IP: Logged |

I am now 47 and never ever thought about trimming or shaving my pubic hairs. I had seen heaps of photos of women who had been shaved, but no men. About this time last year I started trimming my pubes when I had my evening shower. I was quite bemused. The one night after I had had a few drinks, I decided to shave it all off. I thought it looked great, and was a definite turn on. But my wife was not amused. Once the stubble started to appear, my wife did not want me anywhere near her.I let it grow back, and trimmed it a few times during the year, but not too short. I have just trimmed it real short, but not shaven. In 1982, a friend of mine was completely shaven by his girlfriend after finishing shiftwork.
