I notice that when I ejaculate my sperm is either smooth and white or clumpy. I mean it actually forms clumps when it comes out of my penis. Some one told me this is normal but I have my doubts. Has anyone out there have/had this problem ? and if they did what did they do about it ?IP: Logged |

I've noticed exactly the same with my sperm. Sometimes when I ejaculate it's white, smooth and kind of watery, other times it's thick and clumpy. To me this is very normal because I've heard from other guys telling the same about their sperm. So don't worry about it! quote: Originally posted by clumps: I notice that when I ejaculate my sperm is either smooth and white or clumpy. Heh, hope you don't mind me adding my 2 cents worth. My boyfriend's semen is very clumpy, almost the consistency of tapioca. Anyways, I "asked the doctor" on this site because it's always like that and I'd never been w/ someone whose semen wasn't smooth and kinda runny. I was told that this was perfetly normal. Sometimes depending on any variety of factors consistency can change, the amount of liquid you drink, the food you eat, the weather, your general health, age, etc. My only thing was that it just felt kinda wierd when he came and I went to swallow. Now I've just accepted it as part of the incredible package that comes along with him! LOLIP: Logged |

An ejaculation contains 2 types of fluid. One, seminal fluid is white/cream colored and usually smooth/creamy like. The other, sperm is often clumpy, jelly-like and almost yellow in color. Seminal fluid is produced to help with the process of ejaculation and does contain some sperm cells...so one can get pregant with this, it's usually what pre-cum is. Also, the more ejaculations one has, the less sperm that is available, so when one contains almost all seminal fluid....it's usually white and creamy. You get the picture. One thing that helps is to drink more water....it increases the volume and may help with the clumps. So, to answer the orignal question......perfectly normal, no problem!IP: Logged |
