I was just wondering, what do all you guys wear as underwear? eg. boxers, briefs etc.

I actually wear all 3 kinds: briefs, boxer/briefs, and boxers. I like boxers, but if I wear long pants, they tend to ride up my waist and are annoying. So I only wear boxers when I'm wearing shorts. Boxer/briefs are kind of the best of both worlds, in my opinion. I wear briefs when I wear long pants, and when I do anything athletic, as I like the extra support. My balls bounce around too much with boxers when doing anything athletic.

FYI - My guy wears the longer leg briefs to work and nothing the rest of the time, regardless whether he's wearing shorts or dress pants.

Personally, I prefer boxers. My balls tend to hang pretty low and briefs feel to restrictive. I do also kinda like boxer-briefs for days when I need a little extra support.

I'm a brief man and always have been. Tried boxers but really just like the feeling of being snug I suppose, this is really a personal decision. I believe that more guys prefer boxers, but some of us still prefer to feel snug!

I wear boxers...
Boxer briefs with pairs of pants that are a little see through....
Just the color.. white boxer briefs are not noticable

Well i have always worn Briefs except for when i was young but i find them too tight and when i get an erection it Hurts!!!

When swimming though i always use those swimming shorts because i find Trunks tooo revealing and i get embarased and if i got hard on on beach i think i would just cry with embarasment.

Underwhere=nothing
b/c i'm only13 at the pool or beach i wear trunks but the best is bakinisa thngs or g-strings then show the ladies your big dic. Other things: Nude beaches and waling around the pool changing and showerroom naked(when not with my parents)

I usually wear boxers, but I wear briefs when I play sports because of the bouncing around. I like briefs though too because they are snug and it feels good. When I swim I wear a speedo under my board shorts.

Well, Aaron, thanks for giving me a chance to tell a funny story.

As part of my military uniform I am required to wear "Combat Retention Underwear" (we call them "Krupps" after the anvil manufacturer). These are like boxer briefs except that they are combat green and are made of an unusual variety of elastic material, like a cross between spandex and gortex, I guess you could call it "Spangor".

Well they are quite comfortable, so I decided one day to wear them to school (I'm in 11th grade) with my navy dress pants. Well, let me tell you, it was interesting. Normally the boys lay low where they can't be seen, but with these underwear, they were out in no man's land, and to add to it, I was wearing thin dress pants. So had you have seen me in Math class that afternoon, you would of thought I'd been kicked in the stomach, from the way I was doubled over and red-faced.

So here's a tidbit of advice- if you join the Army, wear your uniform to work, not to school.

i've tried them all, and i stick with briefs. even boxer briefs seem too loose. what i would like to know is, how do most guys position themselves? i usually go up or to the side, but if you ever see underwear ads in the newspaper, it looks like its pressed downward. is it just me, or is that really uncomfortable? is that something that is done just in good taste since its in a newspaper, or do most guys "let it hang" like that?

I wear briefs. I've tried boxers, which I would rather sleep in. I flop around so much in boxers that it feels like somebody is playing with me, and I'm afraid of getting hard in them in public. As for storage, I point it down, but some pants force you to choose sides, as the common question "Which side do you dress on?" asks. With a slight left curve, I choose the left.

when i was younger i wore really tight underwear and im really pissed of at myself now becoz i think it has affected my balls.
my bals seem small and dont bounce around not under any circumstances. their always in the one spot as if they were just the one testicle. i always wear boxers now and theres only been a slight increase in hangage but that could be from normal growth.
i would like to know if theres any truth to the low sperm count mith with underwear.

By the way, they do allow most 13 year olds on nude beaches, but they are usually supposed to have parental accompaniment, which he did not convey. I'm somwhat of an exhibisionist and definately a naturist. I do, however, have the common decency to respect other's shyness and usually wear underwear. Baxers are good. Silk boxers feel great against your skin and flannel boxers are so warm and comphy. Nothing feels pretty good, but for the sake of others I usually wear something. I will wear briefs or a thong sometimes, but only for the sake of sexuallity since I have a pretty big bulge. It stands out of my close significantly. I will wear baxer-briefs on occasion if I feel like it, but I like them a little on the tight side. I am 15 and I love skiny-dipping or other nude activities, and I'm not just some pervert. OK..I never understood boxers..isn't it like wearing a pair of short pants, under your pants? I went through a phase of not wearing underwear at all when I was younger, but now I like wearing briefs, like bikini type,..I even wear womans panties..with thier permission, of course. They seem to love it.

I wear Boxers, i find then alot more comfortable than briefs. I can't even remeber the last time i wore briefs lol i really didn't like them tho bc i always got that dam brown stain on them and thats not something we need in out lifes. I never had a pair of boxer-briefs and i wanna try them but the only time i go shopping for cloths its with my mom and i really don't feel like say "hey mom hold on i wanna get some boxer-briefs." Oh well i can wait till i drive its not to far away n e howz.

I know those matters are difficult around Moms but think about it this way. You'd like to try boxer briefs, she probably sees your underwear anyway in the wash so it really is no big deal. If that doesn't help is your father in the picture? How about an older brother, cousin or some other male you are close to that could help. Its really important to establish some sorta relationship with an older guy if you don't have that now. There's gonna come a time when you might need something "guy related" and Mom isn't gonna be able to help. Of course, that's one reason why this board is so cool if you just need information or resources or need to talk about something with someone who's been there!

What Lance said is exactly what I did two years ago. I used to wear briefs all the time, and only boxers ocasionally. When I was 12 I wanted to start wearing boxers. So all I did was ask my mom, and she didn't even care. I suggest you do the same.
