Well, I just shaved mine all off for the first time ever the other day. But normally, my pubic hair is brown, thick, long, and curly. Each hair is about 3.5" long when pulled straight. IP: Logged |

Interesting question! I've got quite the bush down there, dark brown, curly and probably 3 - 31/2 inches long when straigtened out, never shaved off and not gonna!IP: Logged |

Curly, dark brownish black, uneven lengths. Actual bush isn't so big, but thinner scattering toward my belly, except for a well-defined "happy trail".
Beyond pubic hair, you could say I have continuous hair from the base of my neck clear down around my butt. I'd like a fuller bush, but I can accept what I've got; I would never shave it off! IP: Logged |

Almost shaven, but I used an electric timmer instead of a razor. That worked great on the pubic area above the penis. But it cut me many times on my penis shaft and scrotum. The skin is just too thin and soft for the trimmer. I let it grow for a week, and this past weekend I shaved it all down completely with shaving cream and a razor. This worked much better for the penis shaft and balls as I didn't cut myself this way. It also was nice having it completely smooth. One problem though - the pubic area above my penis broke into a rash a day later. It's like a bunch of tiny red bumps and zits - looks terrible. It's starting to get better 3 days later as the hair starts to grow back. I didn't have this problem from shaving my penis shaft and balls. Itching is not a problem. So I'm happy about that. Actually, I love being shaved down there. It makes everything look much bigger, and it feels great. Plus its cleaner looking and I don't leave pubic hair strands all over the bathroom floor and toilet anymore. I think next time I shave, I will use the electric trimmer to shave the pubic area to avoid the rash, and I will use the shaving cream and razor to shave my penis shaft and balls. That should solve all the problems.

But the second time I shaved, I let it be - I didn't want to get a razor anywhere near my anus. How does it feel? Well, cleaner and smoother is the best way to describe it. Butt hair was always annoying, especially when err, wiping. Dingleberries were the worst  None of that problem being shaved.
Where do I stop? Well, I shaved the top part of my leg hair for the first 2 inches of my thighs, but I probably won't do that again since that got irritated from shaving. On the top, I stopped at the top part of my pubes, and just left the happy trail in place and my navel hair. The happy trail being that line of pubic hair that goes from the top of the pubes up to the belly button. I decided to leave that so nobody could tell if I was shaved or not while swimming or in my underwear. I think most people who have seen me in my underwear or swimming would remember that I had a very noticeable happy trail, and if it was suddenly missing, people would wonder...

Oh no Lance I'm so sorry to hear (or read, what ever) 2 people I know have just had the operation, 1 was off work for 3 weeks and the other has been off for 5 weeks, maybe 'cause he's a Fire man and the heavy lifting he does, can't really do light duties in that job!Hope all goes well, will you have to wait long if you have got one?? but if so, at least you can join the club now! and have a little chuckle while you are being shaved down there! I didn't realize how many guys trimmed or shaved their pubes. I know most of my friends and I do. The first time I heard a buddy tell me he shaved his nuts I thought he was nuts. I'd never heard of it. But out of curiosity had to try it. What a feeling. Now I keep the entire area well trimmed. I've gone clean shaven before but don't really like the way it looks. Although it makes you horny all the time because of how sensitive it makes your dick. All in all chicks like a nicely trimmed cock as much as we like a nicely trimmed bush, so it's only fair.

When I pull my pubic hair straight and measure it with a ruler it is 2 inches long at the longest. It is a bright orange color and the texture is smooth. It looks like I don't have a lot of pubes, but I think that has to do with the light color. IP: Logged |

I'm a girl (duh) but I thought I'd add in my opinion on this topic Personally I like a guy to be totally shaved down there. It makes everything more enjoyable, especially oral. I just think pubic hair gets in the way. I'm totally shaved in my region too. I always hear about people saying how badly it itches when it grows back, but personally I've never experienced that. I'm pretty hairy and I like it that way, but for kicks a few months ago, I completely shaved my balls with a razor. It felt damn good, although they were a bit tender for a few days afterward. No problem with itchiness as it grew back. I think my hair is probably finer than most men. It looks a little weird to have hairless balls with hairy legs and belly, etc. Since then, I have gotten into the habit of just trimming the hair on my balls every month or so. That works great. It looks natural, my balls are much more prominent, instead of getting hidden under all that hair, it feels good, and they're way more suckable.IP: Logged |

Here's a tip: Unless you have loads of spare time, do not shave your balls!! Ok, so it does look and feel darn nice, but if you ever miss out on a re-shave, you are going to be itching like crazy!! I am going through the long process of letting mine grow back (since I have had trouble with these parts lately). Anyhoo, if you know you will be a dedicated shaver, then go for it!
