I have recently started having a dark brown discharge! Does anyone know of anything that cause this? It is enough to the point I have to wear tampons! Almost like a period, but without the cramps, and this disgusting discharge rather than blood...please help...I'm really worried....

if you're sure it's not your period (i.e. towards the end of the bleeding it can be dark brown), then i suggest you consult a doctor. it could be a symptom of a myriad of vaginal infections (most likely not serious) and you really have to see someone to diagnose it properly.

Um, Mallory... it's quite normal for menstrual blood to look brown, remember it's not just blood coming out but also dead tissue from the lining of the uterus.
